​What are crowns?

Crowns or caps are meant to restore a tooth surface to it’s original shape and size. A crown will restore the tooth structure when other restorations cannot restore it.

 

Crowns are required when:

• there is significant tooth damage

• for cosmetic reasons

• a filling cannot be repaired
